Refund Policy | Apexsupplydirects Brisbane
apexsupplydirects runs this page so you know exactly what happens to your details when you order a brake kit, a set of coilovers or a cat-back exhaust from us. Below you will find the plain-English version of what we collect, why we keep it, who else sees it, and how you can get it corrected or deleted. If you only read one line, make it this one: we never sell your name, address or email to anyone.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
If a part we sold you is faulty, does not match the description, or is not fit for the purpose you told us about, you are entitled to a remedy. For a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement. For a minor failure we can choose to repair, replace or refund. These rights sit above anything else in this policy and cannot be excluded.
Change of mind returns on parts
We accept unused parts back within thirty days of the invoice date where all of the following apply:
- The part is in its original packaging, unopened and undamaged
- You have the invoice or another proof of purchase
- The part was not a special order, cut to length, painted to your spec or an electrical component once fitted
A restocking fee of fifteen percent applies to change of mind returns because suppliers charge us on the way back. Return freight is your cost unless the part was faulty. Refunds go back to the original payment method within five business days of the part arriving and being checked.
Special orders and electrical parts
Custom-made exhaust sections, headers ordered to a specific engine code, and electronics such as sensors or modules cannot be returned once they leave the counter, unless they are faulty. We will always confirm the part number and the specification in writing before ordering, so you can check it against your vehicle first.
Workshop labour
Labour is not refundable once the work is done, because the time cannot be recovered. What we do offer is a rework guarantee. If a fitment problem shows up within the warranty period printed on your invoice, bring the car back and we will put it right at no labour charge. That covers our own work, not a part that was supplied elsewhere and failed, and not damage from an incident after pickup.
Warranty claims and how to start one
Email apexsupplydirects@gmail.com with the invoice number, a photo of the part and a short description of what happened. We will tell you within two business days whether to bring the vehicle in or send the part back. Do not start a repair elsewhere before talking to us, because it makes it harder to confirm what went wrong.
